We’re a friendly and welcoming church in Wiveliscombe in Somerset. Our aim is to bring Jesus into the very heart of the community in order that friends and neighbours might become committed disciples of Jesus Christ. To this end, the Bible – God’s word – and prayer are at the heart of all our activities.
We are an independent, evangelical fellowship, founded in 1662. We’ve been in our present chapel since 1708, yet we’re looking forward to the future. Our desire is to be a church where people feel that they really matter both to God and to others – where you can find God and make friends. We are a group of ordinary people from many different backgrounds and walks of life who have experienced the difference Jesus Christ makes to our lives, and have a common desire to make him known.
Our main Sunday service is at 11.00 am and we warmly welcome everyone. Car parking at the chapel is very limited, so we suggest you park in either the Croft Way Car Park (behind the Community Centre) or the North Street Car Park, both of which are 4-5 minutes walk from us.
