On the occasion of the Mid Term Conference of the World Evangelical Congregational Fellowship held at Velingrad, Bulgaria; Peter and Lucy Beale (from the UK) and I headed for Sliven, a town in southeast Bugaria.Sliven lies at the foot of the Blue mountains about 200 miles east of Sophia. It is a relatively large town, the eighth largest in Bulgaria. The Pastor of the church is Stoyand Slavchevi  and his wife is Zhani (Jana).
